Ray decided to play the 2001 Edinburgh International
Festival unplugged, taking the opportunity to share some of his career memories
with the audience.
He played, and sold out, 13 nights and found the experience heart warming, "it
was great to be so close and intimate with the audience" he said "to
experience such incredible support from fans who travelled from as far afield
as Japan, Hungary, Germany and countless other countries was fantastic".
